Netanyahu’s decision sparked outrage: Internal rebellion erupted in Israel, plan to occupy Gaza created a stir!: Internal rebellion erupted in Israel, plan to occupy Gaza created a stir!

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to establish “full control” over the Gaza Strip has brought a new political upheaval within the country. This is not just a military decision, but has become a question mark on the unity, morality and future direction of Israeli society.

While on the one hand Netanyahu is calling this plan necessary for ‘national security’, on the other hand, amid the slogans raised on the streets, the screams of families and the tearful pleas of the relatives of the hostages, this plan is being called a ‘defeat of humanity’.

Occupation of Gaza or a suicidal step?

Under Prime Minister Netanyahu’s proposed plan, ‘full military control’ will be established over Gaza City. This step has been approved in principle in the 10-hour long marathon meeting of the Israeli Security Cabinet. Although the word “occupation” was not used in this statement, experts believe that this is the real intention of the plan.

About 1.4 million Palestinians live in Gaza city, a large number of whom have already faced displacement several times. This time they are feared to be forcibly evicted.

Top army leadership warns!

The most shocking reaction in this entire matter has come from the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir. He has directly warned the Prime Minister that complete control over Gaza could become “a dangerous trap”.

The army chief’s concern is not limited to military strategy – he believes that this will put the lives of live hostages at risk. According to media reports, current estimates say that if this operation begins, most, if not all, hostages may be killed – either by Hamas, or inadvertently in military action.

Roar of the relatives of the hostages!

The Gaza War began with Hamas attacks on 7 October 2023, in which more than 1,200 Israelis were killed and 251 people were taken hostage. Even today, about 50 hostages are imprisoned in Gaza, of which about 20 are believed to be still alive.

The families of these hostages have come out openly against the Netanyahu government. They clearly say – “The only way to release the hostages is agreement and ceasefire.”

They also alleged from public forums that the government is ignoring their suffering and putting the lives of their loved ones at stake for politics.

International protest and criticism!

Prime Minister Netanyahu’s statement and plan have also received negative response globally.

• British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has called it a “wrong decision” and appealed for immediate reconsideration.

• The United Nations has condemned this plan and called it against international laws.

• Human rights organizations have defined the language of “voluntary displacement” from Gaza as a “war crime”.

Netanyahu’s intention: War to save power?

Political analysts believe that Netanyahu is prolonging this war to maintain his ruling coalition.

His government is dependent on the support of ultra-nationalist ministers, who have clearly warned – “If there is a deal with Hamas, then we will resign from the government.”

Officials Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich have openly supported the displacement of all Palestinians from Gaza and the establishment of Jewish settlements there. This statement in itself is considered to be a violation of international law.

Tone of rebellion within the country!

• The anger of the public has now come to the streets. Protests have intensified across the country.

• Many retired generals and security officials have written a letter to the US President demanding pressure on Netanyahu.

• #Notification is trending on social media.

• Resentment is also growing over the silence of the White House.

Netanyahu’s double strategy!

In an interview to Fox News, Netanyahu said that Israel does not want to rule Gaza and wants to hand over the rule to “Arab powers”. But he did not give any concrete outline of this statement or name the partner countries.

On one hand, this statement talks about control over Gaza, while on the other hand, it talks about leaving Gaza. This contradiction makes this entire decision suspicious.

61,000 Palestinian deaths – whose responsibility?

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, more than 61,000 Palestinian civilians have been killed in this war so far. Most of them are women and children.

No solution even after so much bloodshed, talking only about control seems inhuman to many people.

Falling wall of popularity!

The latest opinion polls show that Netanyahu’s popularity is falling rapidly. Most citizens now support the release of the hostages and an end to the war.

Netanyahu’s plan is both a bet and a threat to his political future.

The Final Lines: War or Destruction?

Netanyahu’s Gaza plan is no longer just a military action, but a moral test – of Israel, of its citizens, of its politics and of its soul.

Will the country go the way of releasing the hostages and peace, or will it unleash another human crisis in the pursuit of power?

The answer is still unclear – but in the dust and blood of Gaza, answers are being found.
